Draft for legal review

Privacy Policy

Draft privacy policy for EZ2Book platform data.

Legal review required

This page is a working placeholder for owner review and attorney review before public launch. It should be replaced with a final policy before SaaS signup is enabled.

Owner and staff data

The platform may collect organization details, staff contact information, login records, support messages, billing references, and account activity needed to run the service.

Renter data

Renter names, contact details, reservation details, notes, and payment references may be processed so rental businesses can manage bookings. Renter data should be scoped to the rental business that collected it.

Payments and processors

EZ2Book should use Stripe-hosted or Stripe-connected payment flows and should not store raw card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV. Payment metadata may be stored for support, reporting, and reconciliation.

Providers and analytics

When product analytics is enabled, EZ2Book records setup milestones such as signup started, fleet added, Stripe connected, publish clicked, and test booking completed. Analytics does not include owner names, customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, renter notes, card details, raw Stripe identifiers, or raw request bodies.

Retention and requests

The final policy should explain how long account, renter, support, and payment-reference data is retained, and how deletion or export requests are handled.

Security practices

The platform uses tenant data isolation, role-based access, audit logs, and payment-provider-secure checkout patterns. Compliance certifications should not be claimed unless they are actually obtained.

These drafts should receive final owner and legal review before public launch.
